Holidays on the Block

This sequel to New Critters on the Block uses the block tatting technique to make small motifs with a holiday and seasonal theme. They make up quickly and are excellent for clothing appliqués, card enclosures, etc.

There are 24 patterns in all: hat, mitten, Valentine heart (with five variations), leprechaun, shamrock, umbrella, daffodil, Easter bunny, ice cream cone, flip-flops, American eagle, patriotic ribbon, maple leaf, pumpkin, bat, skeleton, candy corn, two turkeys, two Santas, two angels, and Christmas stocking.

I would call this an intermediate level book. There are no split chains, and only one small split ring, but there are a variety of other techniques used, such as folded rings, long beaded picot, and lock stitch chain. There is a chart describing different block tatting methods.

The book is digest size, 8 ½ x 5 ½ inches, and has 32 pages plus cover.

Autographed on request. Email me for that!

The cost is $10.00 per copy plus shipping.

Please see my website for ordering information.
